About our Service

The Capita Accredited SIMS Support Service is fully traded and supports SIMS in schools.

The team provides teaching and support staff with all of the advice, guidance, support and training needed to use SIMS to meet specific and individual school requirements. This includes:
  • A helpline service manned all year round
  • On-site support visits and training courses
  • Meetings/user groups and update seminars
  • Documentation and guidance is provided throughout the school year to support school processes, statutory/DfE requirements and initiatives
  • In addition SIMS upgrades, updates and backups are managed automatically for schools
  • Full support for the SIMS Teacher app
The support schools purchase through SSTEP ensures that the majority of processes are automatically managed by the team and where schools have to manage their own updates, we ensure that is as simple a process as possible.
